Derby Forest Cabins

Derby Forest Cabins are nestled in the heart of the picturesque Mutual Valley in North East Tasmania.

Located just 5kms from the world class Mountain Biking Mecca of Blue Derby, there are a number of new family friendly riding and walking trails around the historic Briseis Dam.

Use the cabins as a base to explore nearby waterfalls, forest walks and beaches (including the beautiful Bay of Fires), before returning to the valley.

Every guest is invited to enjoy the gazebo that looks out into the heart of the Mutual valley, while enjoying a glass of Tasmania's finest wine and sharing a tall tale of two around the fire.

The abundant local wildlife visit each evening and with the BBQ & fire pit lends itself for a great family holiday.

CABINS

The Wedge Tail Cabin, The Kookaburra Cabin and The Curruwong Cabin

Each self contained cabin comfortably sleeps family's up to five, and has an abundance of wide open space for the kids and their imaginations to run "wild."

Each of the 3 cabins can warmly accommodate up to 4 guests split between two bedrooms, they are self contained with their own bathroom and a modern equipped kitchen. Choose between 2 king singles or join them together should that suit.

The split system Air Conditioner will keep you warm in the winter, and cool in the hotter months while you relax inside to a movie on FOXTEL or plan the next days adventure together.
