Bring your family to Stonesthrow for a great day out! Start by hand feeding our cheeky farm animals, then hit the walking trails lakeside and spot our resident eagle and their nests. In our wide open spaces you can run and play, but having fun can be hard work, so make a stop at the restaurant or container café (launching October 2018) for one of our real berry ice creams, a lunch feast or that much needed coffee fix.

Our summer fun includes paddle boats / canoes on the lake and kids tractor buggy (age limits apply to these activities).

Our holiday programmes can include: Plant ‘N’ Learn (Strawberries), cupcake and cookie decorating, face painting, pony rides and more…

Free for Kids!

Fun for kids big and small, come along and feed our friendly animals. $2 feed bags or your own trolley of hay for $5 available for purchase from our restaurant.

See if you can find Timmy the lamb who's all grown up, meet our alpacas Geraldine, Madeleline, Millie & Billie. Don't forget to say hello to our cheeky ponies Travis, Delilah, Ella, Charlotte & Maddision and the newest addition to the family, little Chelsea! We have three other pony friends visiting from our berry farm - Hillwood Berries, they'll return to their home when the season starts November 1st.

Expected soon!! Two new calves, who will be bottle fed until their big enough to meet the rest of their new pen friends.

The Family
Stonesthrow is owned and operated by the Dornauf family. A family with a rich history in premium Tasmanian food production having farmed dairy cows in the Meander Valley for 3 generations, previous owners of Meander Valley Dairy and Tacos de Pancho food van. Now owners of the delicious Hillwood Berries and Hillwood Farmgate & Pick Your Own.
